PM’s brother meets with accident near Mysuru

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s brother Prahlad Modi and family members, who were travelling in a car, met with an accident near Kadakola in Mysuru district on Tuesday afternoon, according to police sources.

A communication has been sent to Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s office after Mysuru Superintendent of Police Seema Latkar rushed to the spot, sources said.

Prahlad Modi and his family members have sustained injuries, but all are safe, hospital sources said.

Security personnel have been deployed at the hospital, while Karnataka Minister ST Somashekhar is on his way to Mysuru following the accident.
