Agartala, 9th August 2025: The Bhavan’s Tripura Vidya Mandir today organized a grand felicitation ceremony to felicitate the outstanding academic achievements of students from Class III to IX and XI of the session -2024-25. The programme was held at M.B.B auditorium of the school premises in the presence of guests, school authorities, teachers, parents and students.
The chief guest was the Chairperson of the Tripura Human Rights Commission Justice Arindam Lodh; Guest of Honour was the Registrar of the National Law University, Tripura Prof. Dr. Nachiketa Mittal. Special invitees included Vice Chairman, BVB, Agartala Kendra Tapan Lodh and Principal of BTCTE Dr.Rajat Dey.
Debashis Chakraborty, Chairman, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Agartala Kendra presided over the programme. The programme started with lighting of sacred lamp followed by floral tribute to the portrait of Kulapati KM Munshi. Swapna Shome, Principal, BTVM welcomed everyone. She also praised the dedication and hard work of the students, as well as the guidance provided by teachers and the unwavering support of parents.
Justice Lodh motivated the students with an inspiring speech emphasizing the importance of morality and the need to be aware of our constitutional rights. Prof. Dr. Mittal inspired the students to set future goals rooted in continuous learning.
Certificates, and mementos were presented to the meritorious students as a token of appreciation and encouragement. There were awarded for different categories from class-III to IX & XI. Students were awarded as Best of the Best, A1 Holder and Full Marks Scorer. Bhavan’s Merit Award and Haralal Merit Scholarship were also conferred upon the students. Besides, students who scored 90% marks or above in all subjects in the Board examinations were awarded the Shikshan Bharati Merit Award. Different cultural programme made the day colourful.
The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the Program coordinator Madam Mala Dev Choudhury expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event and to the bright future of the students.
