Agartala, 13th October 2025: The body of a well-known businessman was found hanging inside his own shop in the Masjid Patti area here this morning, triggering shock and concern among the local business community and residents.
The deceased identified as Dipak Saha was found on the third floor of his commercial establishment after family members grew suspicious when repeated phone calls went unanswered. Upon visiting the shop, relatives found his dead body and immediately alerted authorities.
Police arrived at the scene promptly and sent the body to GB Hospital for post-mortem examination. While the initial circumstances suggest suicide, investigators have not ruled out foul play.
“We are exploring all angles, including the possibility of other factors behind the death,” said a police official. Family members are currently being questioned as part of the inquiry.
