Agartala, 14th October 2025: In a determined push to resolve longstanding local issues, Minister Shuklacharan Noatia led a comprehensive inspection tour across multiple panchayats in the Jolaibari assembly constituency today. Accompanied by a delegation of senior officials from various departments, the minister visited remote villages and hill areas, engaging directly with residents and assessing infrastructure and service gaps.
Citizens welcomed the minister’s presence, openly sharing grievances, developmental concerns, and feedback on the BJP-IPFT coalition government’s initiatives. Minister Noatia assured swift action, instructing departmental officers to avoid bureaucratic delays and ensure timely completion of all pending works.
The delegation included Ashok Kumar Mog, Chairman of the Block Advisory Committee (Jolai Bari RD Block); Keshab Chowdhury, Vice Chairman of the Panchayat Samiti; Bishnu Das, Officer-in-Charge of Baikhora Police Station; Swapan Das, SDO of the Public Works Department; Ashis Das, SDO of the RD Department; Bishwanath Reang and Sujit Das from the Electricity Department; and officials from the Drinking Water Department, among others.
The inspection began at Baikhora Bazaar, where the team reviewed electrical issues at the newly constructed fish market complex. Minister Noatia also held discussions with local traders to understand their challenges. The team then visited two roads in Baikhora Jagannath Para, issuing directives for immediate repairs.
Subsequent stops included Swadeshnagar Panchayat, Pitrai Para under Kalsi Panchayat, and Joy Kumar Para, where the minister promised a new road to improve connectivity in an area that had seen little development during previous administrations. He also addressed concerns regarding drinking water and electricity services.
At Kalsi Bazaar, the minister inspected the ongoing construction of a new supermarket. In Birendranagar Panchayat, he reviewed progress on a multipurpose center for the Reang tribal community under the PM Janman Scheme, managed by his PTG department.
The visit concluded at the TSR camp near the constituency’s border, where Minister Noatia examined local water supply issues and directed officials to expedite solutions. Throughout the day, he also visited Anganwadi centers, health facilities, police stations, roads, and utility services, emphasizing prompt action and accountability.
