Agartala, 18th October 2025: MDC Padmalochan Tripura of the Mirza Kathalia Rajapur constituency organized a humanitarian initiative in Das Para, Manu ADC Village under the Santirbazar assembly constituency. Driven by the belief that “people are for people,” Tripura personally funded the distribution of clothing to impoverished families from four localities, including tribal and minority communities, using his own salary and allowances.
The event also focused on youth development through sports. Two women’s football teams from the ADC area received jerseys and sports equipment, while a local youth group was gifted volleyball gear to encourage physical fitness and team spirit.
The program drew notable attendees, including South District Minority Morcha President Lalchan Badsha, former Santirbazar Mandal member Nakul Chandra Debnath, and former Mandal General Secretary Mambu Mog, alongside MDC Padmalochan Tripura himself.
Local residents expressed deep appreciation for Tripura’s generosity and inclusive approach. Speaking at the event, Tripura reaffirmed his commitment to continuing such social initiatives in the Mirza Kathalia Rajapur region, emphasizing his guiding principle: “People are for people.”
