Agartala: January 22. Former Chief Minister and Member of Parliament of Rajya Sabha Biplab Kumar Deb today appealed to the people not to give vote for CPI (M) as the party doesn’t exist anywhere in the world.

While addressing a party program at Sonamura in Sepahijala district, MP Deb alleged that after 1972 thousand of people were killed, and raped and many have left the state because of the misrule of CPIM and Congress.

“In last election leaders left Congress and joined BJP. Because they had a doubt that Congress and CPIM have some kind of hidden understanding but now it is proven and came before people. During CPIM, Congress rule women were not safe. And now there has come closure. Yesterday two former chief ministers including Samir Ranjan Barman of Congress and Manik Sarkar of CPIM they held rallies. I will save their photo, will put it in an exhibition to aware people of the criminals who deprived people and fooled them just to stay in power”, said Deb.

He said BJP doesn’t come here to stay in power.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn’t come here to collect subscriptions from people. He came here just to provide rice to poor people. During CPIM’s rule, they never give rice free of cost. Even during Covid, the leaders of CPIM collected subscriptions. Without Modi development of Tripura is not possible. After Modi came the state budget also increased but during the Left Front government the budget was very low”, said Deb.

Deb claimed by winning candidates of communists, there will be no profit as they don’t exist anywhere.
