Agartala, 28th October 2025:  Former Tipra Motha Supremo and MDC Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma inaugurated a new sub-zonal office for the residents of Kaladhepa at Manu Bazar under Sabroom sub-division today.

MDC Debbarma was accompanied by the Chief Executive Member of the ADC Purna Chandra Jamatia, Sub-Zonal Chairman Debajit Tripura, Birchandra Sub-Zonal Chairman Narayan Reang and several leaders from the Tipra Motha party.

Addressing the gathering, Pradyot emphasized the importance of unity in tribal development, stating, “The word ‘Thansa’ means unity is the foundation of progress. True development is only possible when we stand together.” He urged local leaders and workers to remain closely connected with the community and actively support public welfare.

However, the day’s spotlight was undeniably on Jalal Mia, social worker and Chairman of the Jalal Khedmat Al-Insaan Foundation, whose humanitarian initiative added a profound dimension to the event. As part of his outreach, Jalal Mia distributed educational materials notebooks, pens and books to nearly 300 students. He also gifted traditional attire and clothing to local tribal women, earning widespread appreciation from attendees and dignitaries alike.

Commending the gesture, both Pradyot and CEM Jamatia lauded Jalal Mia’s efforts, describing them as a true reflection of compassion and social responsibility. In his address, Jalal Mia remarked, “This initiative is aimed at nurturing humanitarian values across all layers of society. Our foundation plans to continue such public welfare activities in the days ahead.”

The inauguration at Kaladhepa thus stood out not only as an administrative milestone but also as a powerful example of community-driven compassion. As one local resident aptly put it, “Initiatives like these kindle hope in our society.”
