The accused, identified as Duple Nath and Sanjib Malakar, were taken into custody yesterday following a directive from the local court. The arrests were carried out by Dharmanagar police.

According to sources, Duple Nath is employed with the Health Department and is currently posted at the Bhagyapur sub-centre under the Brajendranagar Primary Health Centre.
