The court sentenced each accused to pay a fine of Rs 5,000 under Section 3, Rule 6(A) of the Indian Passport Act, with a default clause of one month’s simple imprisonment. Additionally, they were sentenced to two years of rigorous imprisonment and fined Rs 10,000 each under Sections 14A(A)(B) of the Foreigners Act. In default of payment, they will undergo a further two months of simple imprisonment.

The investigation into the case was conducted by ASI Asish Paul of Kailashahar Police Station, who submitted the charge sheet against the accused after thorough inquiry. The trial court, upon examination of evidence, found the accused guilty and pronounced the sentence accordingly.
