Agartala, 21st November 2025: A jawan of the 13th Battalion of Tripura State Rifles (TSR), Ahmed Ali, sustained serious injuries in a road accident at Paiturbazar area of Kailashahar on Friday.
According to reports, Ali, a resident of Hawkers’ Corner Road, was riding his motorcycle towards Chirakuti when it collided with a four-wheeler. The impact threw him onto the road, causing severe injuries to his leg.
Local residents rushed to his aid and immediately shifted him to Unakoti District Hospital. Doctors have conducted an X-ray, and his treatment is currently underway.
Eyewitnesses stated that the vehicle involved in the accident, along with its driver, fled the scene immediately after the collision. Police later reached the spot, recorded statements from witnesses, and launched an investigation. Efforts are on to trace the absconding vehicle and its driver.
