Agartala, 28th November 2025: Faculty of Law of the ICFAI University Tripura celebrated 76th Constitution Day on 26th November, 2025 at University Campus. As a part of celebration, an Intra Departmental Youth Parliament competition organized among the law students of the University followed by a Special Lecture Session.
The Senior Advocate of Tripura High Court, Advocate Purushuttam Roy Barman was the Resource Person for the Special Lecture Session. Prof. (Dr.) Biplab Halder, Vice Chancellor & Dr. A Ranganath, Registrar of the University was also graced the Program welcome address given by Dr. Nabarun Bhattacharjee, Principal of Faculty of Law of the University. Prof. (Dr.) Halder on his inaugural speech justified the theme of this year’s celebration is Hamara Samvidhan-Hamara Swabhiman.
The Resource speaker Advocate Roy Barman given a special lecture on the topic “Justice for all, Justice for all homes, Realizing the constitutional promise in Contemporary India”. He also explained about the ideals of equality, liberty, and fraternity is enshrined in the Preamble to the Indian Constitution as foundational principles for the nation.
Vote of thanks addressed by Dr. A Ranganath, Registrar of the University. The event hosted by Dr. Mousumi Kalita, Asst. Professor of faculty of law of the University.
The celebration ended with the prize distribution ceremony among the winners of the competition followed by the singing of the National Anthem.
