Agartala, 29th November 2025: A jawan of the Tripura State Rifles (TSR) 11th Battalion was rescued in a severely burnt condition under mysterious circumstances late last night on Dakbangla Road in Udaipur. The injured jawan has been identified as Sujan Das, 32.
According to local accounts, residents rushed out of their homes after hearing sudden cries in the middle of the night. They discovered Das lying by the roadside with severe burn injuries. Fire service personnel were immediately alerted, and he was rushed to hospital. Medical sources have described his condition as critical.
The incident has triggered widespread tension and speculation across Udaipur. Authorities have yet to determine how or under what circumstances the jawan sustained the burns. Police reached the spot soon after and have launched an investigation.
The mysterious nature of the case has left the area in shock, with residents demanding clarity on the circumstances that led to the incident.
