CRPF holds civic action programme in West Tripura

Agartala, 27th January 2026:  A Civic Action Programme was organized today by the 124th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) at the Kambukchhara SB School ground under Hejamara RD Block.

As part of the initiative, educational materials were distributed among school students of the area. Sports equipment was also handed over to local youths to encourage them to stay physically and mentally active.

The event was attended by Commandant Rabish Kumar of the 124th Battalion along with other officials. Speaking to the media after the programme, Commandant Kumar emphasized that the CRPF not only safeguards peace and security in the country but also takes social responsibility seriously by contributing to the cultural, mental, and physical development of local communities.

He further noted that such civic action programmes strengthen mutual trust and cooperation between the CRPF and the public. The programme witnessed significant participation from local residents and parents.
