Agartala, 27th January 2026: Alongside maintaining law and order, the South District Police Administration organized a social welfare program at the Kwaifang TSR Camp in Jolaibari assembly constituency, where 50 impoverished tribal families received winter blankets.
The event was attended by South District SP Maurya Krishna C, Additional Superintendent of Police Suman Majumdar, Baikhora Police Station OC Bishnu Das, Santirbazar Police Station Second Officer Samir Biswas, along with several other police officials.
Speaking to the media personnel, SP Maurya Krishna C highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating: “This social program plays an important role in strengthening the bond between the police force and the public. While we are committed to maintaining law and order, we also want to express our trust, compassion, and solidarity with the people.”
The initiative is expected to further reinforce the relationship between the police administration and the local community. The program generated widespread enthusiasm among attendees, reflecting the positive impact of such humanitarian efforts beyond routine law enforcement duties.
