NLU Tripura holds career guidance and legal awareness session at Narsingarh HS School

Agartala, 3rd February 2026:  As part of its School-Connect Programme, NLU Tripura organized a Career Guidance and Legal Awareness Session for Class XI students at Narsingarh Higher Secondary School today.

The session was led by the Vice-Chancellor, NLU Tripura, Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Pratap Singh, wherein he motivated and inspired students on the importance of their legal rights and duties, the expanding scope of the legal profession as a career option, the valuable contributions of lawyers to society, and the growing opportunities in legal education.

In the second part of the programme, third-year students of NLU Tripura conducted an interactive awareness session covering critical social and legal issues, including Child Marriage and Drugs awareness, which are increasingly relevant concerns in Tripura.

The event was coordinated by Merelin Darlong, Assistant Professor, NLU Tripura, who also delivered a heartfelt vote of thanks to the school for the initiative which reflects their concern towards the students, especially in ensuring their well-being and growth.

The outreach initiative is a part of NLU Tripura’s ongoing efforts to address important social issues and provide free legal awareness, under the flagship initiative “Let Us Work for the Children of Tripura”.

The programme was attended by the School Principal, Suchitra Sarkar along with teachers, staff, and students.
