Assam Rifles marks national dentist day at Agartala

Agartala, 6th March 2026:   On the occasion of National Dentist Day, Assam Rifles organised a dental check-up and screening camp at Agartala on 06 March 2026, as part of its ongoing health and welfare initiatives. The medical outreach witnessed the participation of 150 troops, 30 family members and 12 children, who underwent comprehensive dental screening and were provided guidance on oral hygiene and preventive care.

The initiative aimed at promoting awareness on oral health, preventive dental care and overall well-being, while ensuring early detection and management of dental ailments among personnel and their families. Such health-focused activities underscore the commitment of Assam Rifles towards the holistic welfare and readiness of its personnel, while also fostering a culture of preventive healthcare within the Force.

Through sustained welfare and medical outreach programmes, Assam Rifles continues to prioritise the health, morale and operational effectiveness of its troops and families, thereby strengthening its role in safeguarding the nation.
