Former Tripura High Court Judge Pradip Sarkar Passes Away at 80

Agartala, 11th March 2026:  Pradip Sarkar, a former judge of the Tripura High Court, passed away on Wednesday morning at the age of 80. He had reportedly been suffering from age-related ailments for a long time.

News of his demise spread in the morning, casting a shadow of grief across the legal fraternity, including members of the High Court and the broader legal community in the state.

Later in the day, his mortal remains were brought to the premises of the Tripura High Court, where colleagues and members of the legal fraternity paid their final respects.

Among those who paid tribute was the Chief Justice of the Tripura High Court, M. S. Ramachandra Rao, along with other judges, lawyers, and court staff. Prominent members of the legal community also expressed deep sorrow at his passing.
