Agartala, 28th March 2026: The Directorate of Skill Development (DSD), Government of Tripura, is proud to announce that the Tripura State Team will participate in the prestigious IndiaSkills National Competition 2025–26, commencing from 29th March 2026.The competition will be held at multiple venues, with onsite events at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, and offsite events at Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The Tripura contingent delivered an outstanding performance at the Regional Level Competition held in Assam, securing 2 Gold Medals in Automobile Technology and Mobile App Development, along with 2 Silver Medals in Cloud Computing and Electrical Installation. As per competition norms, these medal winners have qualified to represent the state at the national level.
In addition, Tripura has secured direct walkover entries in 5 trades, comprising 13 candidates, further strengthening its presence at the national platform. These candidates have qualified in emerging and future-ready sectors such as Cyber Security, Industry 4.0, ICT Infrastructure Network, Renewable Energy, and Digital Construction.
Altogether, a total of 17 candidates will represent Tripura at the IndiaSkills National Competition 2025–26, showcasing the state’s growing excellence in advanced and industry-relevant skill domains.
The IndiaSkills Competition serves as a premier platform to identify and nurture skilled youth, providing opportunities to compete at national and international levels, including global platforms such as WorldSkills.
