Agartala, 2nd April 2026: Agartala witnessed a serious road accident today in front of Salbagan Oxygen Park under NCC Police Station. A bike and an auto collided head-on, leaving one passenger critically injured.
The injured has been identified as Liza Debbarma, a resident of Barakathal area. Locals rushed her to GB Hospital in a critical condition immediately after the accident.
According to police, the biker fled the scene following the collision. On receiving information, NCC police reached the spot and began recovering the damaged auto (bearing registration number TR 01–J–3858) and the bike.
The incident has triggered tension in the locality. Police are investigating the matter and have launched a search operation to trace the absconding biker.
