Agartala, 3rd April 2026: With the upcoming Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) elections drawing near, political activities across the state are gaining momentum. Parties are holding a series of preparatory meetings and organizational programs to strengthen their grassroots presence.
Today, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) organized a key preparatory meeting in Teliamura subdivision. The session, held at a private hotel, was attended by Kalyani Saha Roy, Chief Whip of the Tripura Legislative Assembly and MLA from Teliamura constituency. She was joined by BJP’s nominated candidates Rajesh Debbarma from Mandai-Pulinpur and Billu Jamatia from Maharani constituency.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held with party workers and supporters on booth-level planning, campaign strategies, and strengthening organizational networks ahead of the April 12 polls. Special emphasis was placed on building close contact with voters in remote areas.
The gathering witnessed significant participation from tribal workers and supporters of both constituencies, adding weight to the program. Party leaders urged workers to remain united and work collectively to ensure victory.
According to BJP insiders, such continuous organizational initiatives are expected to fortify the party’s base and expand its influence at the grassroots level in the run-up to the elections.
