According to family sources, Ramzan, the younger son of local resident Sona Mia, had left for Chennai about six months ago in search of work. He was returning home after completing his job when tragedy struck. Reports allege that four days ago he fell from a train in Odisha and died on the spot.

His body was then transported back to his village, where family members broke down in tears upon seeing him. Neighbors and residents gathered in large numbers to pay their last respects, with people from all communities — Hindu and Muslim alike — joining in mourning.
