Kalbaishakhi storm batters Badharghat; MLA Mina Rani Sarkar assures relief

Agartala, 28th April 2026:   A sudden Kalbaishakhi storm that struck this morning wreaked havoc across Badharghat, leaving numerous homes damaged and several residents injured. The area, which falls within the constituency of MLA Mina Rani Sarkar, witnessed widespread destruction as families struggled to cope with the aftermath of the natural calamity.

Responding swiftly, MLA Sarkar personally visited the affected locality to conduct an on-the-spot inspection. She interacted with families whose houses had been damaged, inquiring about their immediate needs and concerns. Following her visit, she consulted with administrative authorities and directed them to arrange prompt relief and assistance measures.

“I stand in solidarity with all those affected by this disaster. Every possible effort will be made to assist them in returning to their normal lives as quickly as possible,” Sarkar stated.

Relief operations are now underway, with local authorities mobilizing resources to provide shelter, food, and medical support to the injured and displaced.
