Agartala, 5th May 2026: A new dental care department dedicated to human service was inaugurated today at Amtali Azachak Ashram. The inauguration ceremony was graced by local MLA and Deputy Speaker of the Tripura Legislative Assembly, Ramprasad Pal, who served as the chief guest.
Dukli Panchayat Samiti Chairman Bholan Saha, former Director of the Agriculture Department Debapriya Bhowmik, Executive President of Tripura State Sammilit Akhand Sangathan Dhyanjyuti Kar, General Secretary Dipak Kumar Nandi, Associate Secretary Arun Kumar Pal, Executive Secretary Pradip Kumar Bhowmik, Cultural Secretary Ranjit Deb, along with several devotees were present.
The day began with a collective prayer session at the Ashram, followed by the formal inauguration at 11 a.m. Ramprasad Pal lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the opening of the dental care unit. As part of the initiative, renowned dentists from Agartala will provide treatment to patients once a month at the Ashram. On the inaugural day, as per reports, 33 patients had already registered for consultation.
Addressing the gathering, Deputy Speaker Ramprasad Pal emphasized the importance of service, stating, “Service is the supreme religion. A true humanitarian is one who endures personal hardship to alleviate the suffering of others. To attain divine grace, one must engage in selfless service with sincerity and compassion.”
The event concluded with the distribution of Mahaprasad among all attendees, reinforcing the spirit of community and service.
