Agartala, 13th May 2026: The Students’ Federation of India (SFI) Sonamura Divisional Committee organized a felicitation ceremony to honor Sweta Sarkar, a meritorious student of Kathalia Girls’ High School, who secured an impressive 91.2% marks in the Higher Secondary Examination.
Sweta, hailing from an economically disadvantaged family, overcame severe financial hardships to achieve this remarkable success. Her accomplishment has been hailed as a source of inspiration for the community.
During the program, SFI assured that the organization would stand by Sweta in the future if she faces any obstacles in continuing her education. The committee also extended best wishes for her bright academic journey ahead.
The event was attended by Sonamura Divisional Committee Secretary Anisur Rahman, along with members Imam Hossain, Kabir Hossain, Parvez Hossain, Ariful Islam, Faruk Hossain, Rabiul Rahman, and Parvez Hossain. Leaders from mass movements, including Kaushik Chandra and Palton Sarkar, were also present to show solidarity.
