TIPS students shine in 2025-26 placements across India, abroad

Agartala, 16th May 2026 :   The Tripura Institute of Paramedical Sciences (TIPS) has recorded remarkable placement achievements during the 2025-26 academic session, reaffirming its position as one of the leading institutions for Allied Health Sciences and Nursing education in Northeast India.

Established in 2009 as a joint venture with the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Tripura, TIPS is affiliated with Tripura University and recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Allied Healthcare and Nursing and is accredited by several national and international bodies, including AERB, IAP, ISRT, IAO (USA), and ISO-LMS.

According to the institute, students from various disciplines such as Medical Laboratory Technology, Radiology and Imaging Technology, Optometry, and Nursing secured placements in several reputed government and private healthcare institutions across India and abroad. A major highlight of the year was the recruitment notified by the Director of Health Services, Government of Tripura, on May 2, 2026, in which more than 90 to 95 percent of the selected candidates in several categories were reportedly from TIPS.

Students of the institute have secured placements at prestigious institutions including All India Institute of Medical Sciences Deoghar, Aster CMI Hospital, LV Prasad Eye Institute, Max Healthcare, Yashoda Hospitals, Manipal Hospital Bhubaneswar, ILS Hospitals and several other reputed healthcare organizations across the country.

The institute also achieved notable international placements, with students receiving opportunities at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust and other NHS-affiliated hospitals in the United Kingdom.

TIPS stated that it currently maintains collaborations with more than 200 healthcare brands and institutions. Its major corporate partners include Apollo Hospitals, Fortis Healthcare, Manipal Hospitals and Health City Hospital.

The institute also conducts various professional exposure and skill development programmes through its Training and Placement Cell. During the academic year, TIPS organized programmes on overseas placement opportunities for Indian nurses in collaboration with the Department of Skill Development, Government of Tripura, along with workshops on cyber security in association with the National Forensic Sciences University.

The institute said the successful placement season reflects its continued commitment towards producing skilled healthcare professionals equipped to meet both national and global healthcare demands through quality education and extensive clinical exposure.
