Agartala, 26th May 2026: Tripura Natural Gas Company Limited (TNGCL) has announced a revision in the prices of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) across different sectors in the state following an increase in gas prices.
According to an official notice issued by TNGCL on Monday, the revised rates will come into effect from May 27, 2026.
As per the revised pricing structure, the CNG price in West Tripura district has been increased from ₹85.15 per kg to ₹87.15 per kg, while in Gomati district it has gone up from ₹89.95 to ₹91.95 per kg.

For domestic PNG consumers in West Tripura, the rate has been revised from ₹44.41 to ₹45.88 per SCM, while for government quarters in the district, the price has increased from ₹49.12 to ₹50.43 per SCM.
Similarly, in Gomati district, domestic PNG rates have been raised from ₹48.53 to ₹49.99 per SCM. PNG supplied to government quarters in Gomati district will now cost ₹54.99 per SCM instead of the earlier ₹53.53.
The revised rate for commercial and industrial PNG consumers in West Tripura district has been fixed at ₹57.45 per SCM, up from ₹56.23, while in Gomati district it has been increased from ₹53.57 to ₹54.28 per SCM.
Meanwhile, the rate for Bodhjungnagar Industrial Growth Centre (IGC) has also been revised upward from ₹42.90 to ₹43.63 per SCM.
The notice was issued by P. Bhattacharjee, Manager of TNGCL.
