Agartala, 29th May 2026 : Union Minister of Power and Housing & Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar is scheduled to visit Tripura on May 31 as part of his three-day tour covering Mizoram, West Bengal, and Tripura from May 29 to 31, 2026.
During the Tripura visit, he will take part in events marking six years of the PM SVANidhi Scheme and interact with beneficiaries from the North-Eastern states at a special programme in Agartala. The visit will also include review meetings with state officials on issues related to the power and urban development sectors.
According to officials, Khattar is also expected to assess Tripura’s power infrastructure, including possible visits to key power facilities, and hold discussions with the state’s Power Department regarding ongoing projects and future requirements.
