Agartala, 8th June 2026: A series of statewide public welfare camps will be organized across Tripura to mark the completion of 12 years of the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
A virtual review meeting was held at the Secretariat Video Conference Hall under the chairmanship of Social Welfare and Social Education Minister Tinku Roy. The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Information and Cultural Affairs Department, senior officials from various departments, and District Magistrates from eight districts.
As per the decisions taken in the meeting, public welfare camps will be conducted at every block and local self-governing body across the state, including Agartala. The state-level camp will be held at Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan from June 14 to June 16. Block and urban-level camps will follow from June 15 to June 17.
These camps aim to facilitate beneficiary enrollment under various government schemes and raise public awareness about key welfare initiatives. Special focus will be given to schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, PM Suryaghar, PM SVANidhi, Lakhpati Didi, and VBG Ramji, among others
