During the event, all the Chief Ministers of the North Eastern states, the Secretary of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), the Adviser and Programme Director (PPP) of NITI Aayog, officials from the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank, as well as representatives from all the North Eastern states, will be present.

The workshop aims to strengthen institutional and technical capacity in the North Eastern Region (NER) for the effective design, implementation, and monitoring of Externally Aided Projects (EAPs). It will facilitate knowledge-sharing on development challenges, operational lessons, and best practices within the NER and other states, with a focus on improving implementation outcomes. The workshop will also promote peer learning and coordination among central ministries, state governments, and development partners, while helping to identify state-level priorities and develop a roadmap for capacity strengthening.
