Agartala, 29th June 2026: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Tripura Pradesh, has placed Raja Saha, an in-charge of the party’s Yuva Morcha “One Booth 20 Youth” programme, under immediate suspension for alleged violations of party discipline.
According to an official statement issued by the party, Saha has been found to be engaged in activities inconsistent with the party’s ideology, directives, and organizational discipline for a prolonged period. Despite multiple warnings, he reportedly continued to participate in anti-party activities and shared content on social media that was contrary to the party’s official stance and policies.
The party stated that these actions were considered detrimental to organizational unity and discipline. Taking the matter seriously and in the interest of a fair and thorough investigation, the suspension was ordered by the Pradesh General Secretary Shri Bipin Debbarma, as per the direction of BJP Tripura Pradesh President Shri Abhishek Debroy.
During the suspension period, Saha has been instructed not to represent himself as a member or representative of the party in any capacity. He has also been directed to submit a written explanation to the party office within five days of receiving the notice. Failure to provide a satisfactory response within the stipulated time may result in further disciplinary action under the party constitution.
The order has come into immediate effect.Reaffirming its stance, the BJP Tripura Pradesh leadership emphasized that the party places the highest importance on discipline, ideology, organizational unity, and responsible conduct, and expects all members and office-bearers to strictly adhere to party rules and directives.
