Agartala, 21st July 2026; Chief Secretary Jitendra Kumar Sinha has been admitted to a private hospital in Agartala after suffering from viral fever, cough, and dehydration.
Doctors attending to him have kept him under close observation and confirmed that his health condition is stable. He is responding positively to treatment, and his vital parameters remain within normal limits.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha visited the hospital on Wednesday to enquire about the Chief Secretary’s health. During the visit, he met the treating doctors and spoke with Sinha’s family members to get an update on his treatment and recovery.
Sharing an update on social media, Dr. Saha said that Sinha’s health parameters were stable and expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery. He also prayed for the Chief Secretary’s good health.
Health Secretary Kiran Gitte was also present during the visit. Medical authorities said that necessary tests are being carried out and his condition is being monitored regularly.
The Chief Minister assured people that there is no need for concern, stating that Jitendra Kumar Sinha is improving and recovering under proper medical supervision.
