Minister Sushanta Chowdhury reviews development works at Ranirbazar Municipal Council

Agartala, 24th July 2026:  Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Friday reiterated the state government’s commitment to providing advanced, transparent and citizen-friendly public services while reviewing the progress of development works under the Ranirbazar Municipal Council.

The review meeting, held at the conference hall of the Ranirbazar Municipal Council, was attended by the Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, elected representatives, municipal officials and local leaders. The discussions focused on the status of ongoing development projects, challenges faced during implementation, future opportunities and the roadmap for ensuring better civic infrastructure and services.

Addressing the meeting, Chowdhury said the government remains committed to strengthening governance through transparency, accountability and efficient service delivery. He directed all concerned officials and public representatives to work with sincerity, coordination and a strong sense of responsibility to ensure that citizens receive quality services without inconvenience.

The Minister stressed the need for timely execution of development projects and close coordination among all stakeholders to address local issues effectively. He also underlined the importance of maintaining high standards in public works while ensuring transparency at every stage of implementation.

Reaffirming the government’s development agenda, Chowdhury said the administration is determined to continue the momentum of progress and fulfil the expectations of the people by delivering responsive, people-centric and efficient civic services across the municipal area.
