Agartala, 1st August 2026: The state-level launch of the nationwide campaign ‘Nasha Mukt Yuva for Viksit Bharat Sankalp Abhiyan’ will be held tomorrow, August 2, at Tripura University, Suryamaninagar. The programme is being organized under the aegis of My Bharat, Tripura, functioning under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will inaugurate the event virtually. Tripura Governor Shri Indrasena Reddy Nallu will attend as the chief guest, while the Vice-Chancellor of Tripura University will preside over the ceremony.
Students from across the state, volunteers of My Bharat and NSS, youth organizations, government officials, and distinguished personalities are expected to participate in the programme.
The event will feature direct virtual interactions, an oath-taking ceremony for a drug-free society, cultural performances, and awareness activities aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, aiming to build a drug-free India.
