Agartala, March 15: The North Tripura District Legal Services Authority in Dharmanagar organized ‘World Consumer Rights Day’ in Ramnagar Gram Panchayat.
Ramnagar Gram Panchayat Pradhan Tapas Dasand Ramnagar Panchayat secretary, and Paralegal Volunteer Rajib Debnath, Advocate Bikash Acharya and Mithun Debnath were present as resource persons. Ramnagar Gram Panchayat Pradhan Tapas Das presided over the programme.
The present dignitaries discussed about consumer rights, how the consumer should buy things according to the right rules and how the consumer will be sued in the court if the consumers are cheated and what should be done as a consumer and what should be known in addition to what legal services people can get.
Essay and quiz competition on ‘World Consumer Rights Day’ was held in the event and the presiding ceremony ended after distribution of prizes.
