Agartala, 4th September 2026 : The Congregation of Holy Cross, Province of Northeast India, has announced the funeral arrangements for Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Kallarackal, C.S.C., who passed away recently. His mortal remains will be kept for public viewing at the Holy Cross Provincial House, Durjoynagar, Agartala, on Sunday, September 6, from 2:30 pm to 4:45 pm and again from 6 pm to 9 pm.
The final public viewing will be held at Holy Cross School, Agartala, on Monday, September 7, from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. The funeral service will follow at 10 am at the school, after which the mortal remains will be laid to rest at the Holy Cross Cemetery.
Former students, teachers, colleagues, friends, well-wishers and members of the public have been invited to pay their final respects and bid farewell to the late priest and educationist.
Fr. Emmanuel served as Vice Principal and later Principal of Holy Cross School, Agartala, and was also the founding Principal of Holy Cross College, Agartala. During his long association with education in Tripura, he made a lasting contribution to the academic and personal development of thousands of students.
