Agartala, 4th September 2026 : The All Tripura Samagra Shiksha Ministerial Staff Organization has urged the authorities to regularise the services of all ministerial employees working under the Samagra Shiksha project in Tripura.
A delegation of the organisation, affiliated with the Tripura Government Employees Federation, met Samagra Shiksha Project Director and Director of Elementary Education Dr. Sumit Roy Chowdhury at Shiksha Bhavan on Thursday evening and submitted a memorandum outlining their demands.
The organisation sought regularisation on the lines of practices followed in Assam, Punjab, Manipur, Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha and Chandigarh. It also demanded government employment under the die-in-harness scheme for family members of deceased Samagra Shiksha employees, along with financial assistance to bereaved families.
The delegation further sought extension of benefits enjoyed by regular government employees, including Dearness Allowance, to all Samagra Shiksha staff.
Representatives of the organisation and senior members of the Tripura Government Employees Federation participated in the meeting. After discussions on the demands, Dr. Chowdhury assured the delegation that the issues would be brought to the notice of higher authorities for consideration and necessary action.
