Agartala, 7th September 2026 : BJP National General Secretary and Tripura MP Biplab Kumar Deb said the party’s month-long ‘Seva Sankalp’ programme has been carefully planned to strengthen the organisation at the grassroots and give party workers a clear understanding of their responsibilities and the initiative’s objectives.
Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Deb said BJP leader Vinod Tawde is overseeing the initiative, while a structured framework prepared under the guidance of National General Secretary (Organisation) B.L. Santhosh has already been taken to the grassroots. He said two-day seminars on the programme have also been organised at the party office as part of the exercise.
Deb said the initiative has been designed not merely as an organisational programme but as an effort to establish a stronger connection between the party and people at the grassroots. The detailed plan is ready, responsibilities have been entrusted to designated prabharis, and senior leadership will regularly monitor its implementation.
He said B.L. Santhosh and the BJP national president would oversee the programme at the top level, while the designated in-charges would be responsible for carrying it forward on the ground.
Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s organisational journey, Deb said the Prime Minister’s long experience of working within the BJP before assuming office has been a source of pride for party workers. According to him, Modi’s experience at the booth and grassroots levels has enabled him to understand ground realities comprehensively.
Deb expressed confidence that the ‘Seva Sankalp’ campaign would be successfully implemented across the country. He said the initiative would help BJP workers understand the organisation’s objectives more effectively and strengthen their commitment to public service.
He also hoped that the programme would provide fresh enthusiasm to the party cadre and boost the morale of BJP workers across the country.
