Agartala, 16th September 2026 : Dr. Milind Dharmrao Ramteke, Secretary of the Urban Development Department (UDD), Government of Tripura, along with Dr. G. S. Nayak, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Agartala Smart City Limited (ASCL), conducted a site visit to review the progress of the GB Road project under the Smart Roads Project of Agartala Smart City Limited.
During the visit, the officials inspected the ongoing works along the stretch connecting GB Road through Ganaraj Chowmuhuni and Lal Bahadur Chowmuhuni. They reviewed the progress of the project and assessed the status of various ongoing infrastructure works.
The site inspection focused on ensuring that the project progresses as per schedule and contributes to improved urban connectivity and road infrastructure in Agartala.
The officials also emphasized the importance of timely completion of the works while maintaining the required standards of construction and ensuring minimal inconvenience to commuters and residents during the implementation period.
The Smart Roads Project is aimed at strengthening road infrastructure and improving connectivity across key stretches of Agartala, with the broader objective of creating a more efficient and modern urban transport network in the capital city.
