Agartala, 6th October 2026 : A ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ will be organised at Shishu Udyan in Agartala on Wednesday as part of the ongoing ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service and his commitment to nation-building, Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said on Tuesday.
Speaking during an inspection of the preparations at the venue, Chowdhury said the programme is being organised across the country and Tripura will also participate in the nationwide observance. Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha is scheduled to attend the programme in Agartala.
The Tourism Minister said the initiative aims to highlight the Prime Minister’s 25-year journey of public service and his contribution towards nation-building.
Chowdhury visited Shishu Udyan on Tuesday evening along with party leaders and Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) workers to review the arrangements for the event. He inspected the venue and took stock of various preparations being undertaken by party workers and organisers.
During the visit, the Minister discussed arrangements for the smooth conduct of the programme and stressed the need for coordination among the organisers.
He urged party leaders and workers to work collectively to make the ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ a success and ensure active participation in the programme.
