Agartala, March 24: TIPRA Motha party MLA Animesh Debbarma became the Leader of the Opposition in the 13th Tripura Legislative Assembly. Philip Kumar Reang became the deputy leader and Biswajit Kalai became the leader.
BJP MLA Kalyani Saha Roy has been nominated as the Chief Whip of the treasury bench. Moreover, MLA Jitendra Chaudhury became the legislator party leader of the CPIM group in the assembly, MLA Shyamal Chakraborty became the deputy leader and MLA Nirmal Biswas became the leader. Speaker Bishwabandhu Sen made this announcement in the second half of the assembly session on Friday.
