Agartala, 7th October 2026 : The ‘Seva Jyoti Yatra’ and ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’ were organised with enthusiasm at the historic DNV Ground in Dharmanagar on October 7 as part of a nationwide initiative marking Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service.
Tripura ministers Santana Chakma and Shukla Charan Noatia inaugurated the programme. MLAs from Panisagar, Bagbassa, Kanchanpur and Dharmanagar, the North Tripura Zilla Parishad Sabhadhipati, BJP district president, representatives of Nagar Panchayats and Municipal Councils, party leaders and workers attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, speakers lauded Modi’s 25 years of dedicated service and leadership, stating that his welfare-oriented governance has strengthened development and ensured that benefits of various government schemes reach people, particularly those at the grassroots.
The leaders expressed gratitude for what they described as the Centre’s initiatives towards all-round development and said Modi’s vision has inspired people to contribute towards building a developed India.
They pledged to work collectively towards achieving the ‘Viksit Bharat’ goal by 2047. The speakers also said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha, the Tripura government and elected representatives remain committed to advancing development and taking government initiatives to the people.
