Agartala, 23rd October 2026 : A meat seller, Jayanta Saha, has lodged a complaint at Bishalgarh Police Station, alleging that booth president Bhakta Debnath assaulted him and his father, Bijoy Saha, following a dispute over garbage disposal at Baidyardighi Market on Friday morning.
According to the complaint, the altercation began after Saha disposed of garbage at the market.
He has demanded strict action against the accused, alleging that similar incidents of violence had occurred previously.
