Lok Sabha was adjourned till 1200 hours on Wednesday amid Opposition uproar over Adani issue.
As soon as the House assembled for the day, the MPs from Opposition trooped into the well and raised slogans against the ruling dispensation demanding Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC) probe into the Hindenburg Research report over Adani Group.
Amid the din, Presiding Officer Bhartruhari Mahtab said, “Let us allow the Question Hour to run. I request the members to be on your chair.”
“It is not the responsibility of the Chair alone to run the House. It is the responsibility of all the members,” he said.
He then adjourned the House till 1200 hours.
Several Opposition parties have been demanding a JPC probe into the Hindenburg Research report over Adani Group.
