Date:

Agartala, 2nd November 2026 : Concern has gripped the Nonjala area under Bishramganj following the mysterious disappearance of Ibrahim Hossain, popularly known as Robel, who had travelled to Bengaluru for work. The father of two has reportedly been missing for the past 15 days, with his mobile phone switched off and no communication with his family.

According to family sources, Ibrahim had been working in Bengaluru for the last seven months. However, all contact with him suddenly came to an end around 15 days ago. Despite repeated attempts by his father, Tapan Mia, mother, Ranjana Begum, and wife, Rusna Begum, to reach him over the phone, his mobile remains switched off.

The family’s anxiety has continued to grow with each passing day as they remain unaware of his whereabouts. His two young children, five-year-old Arban Hossain and two-year-old Aman Hossain, are reportedly missing their father and repeatedly asking for him.

Unable to establish any contact with her son, his mother Ranjana Begum approached Bishramganj Police Station on Sunday night and lodged a General Diary (GD) entry, seeking assistance in tracing him.

The incident has sparked concern in the Nonjala area, while the family is desperately hoping for his safe return. His whereabouts remain unknown.
