Agartala: April 12. The ICFAI University Tripura has recently signed a MoU with US University for faulty exchange, student exchange Academic and Research collaborations.
Addressing a press conference at Agartala Press Club, VC of ICFAI university Biplab Halder said that the ICFAI University Tripura a Multi Disciplinary University has achieved the success in providing quality education with state of the art academic infrastructure and teaching facilities and gets succeeded to attract national and international students during its short span of existence. At present international students from Somalia and Bangladesh are pursuing various programmes. All the programs offered by the University are professional and job oriented. The University has also been successful in giving placement assistance to the students in various reputed organizations through Campus Placement Drive. Recently one ANM Nursing student has placed in Japan.
“The University encourages the meritorious students by awarding of MERIT SCHOLARSHIP known as “N. J. Yasaswy Memorial Merit Scholarship” to boost their performances and also helps the SC, ST, OBC & Minority and also general students for applying various Scholarships under State and Central Government schemes through National Scholarship portal. 3252 students have received various scholarships during the academic year 2022-23”, he said.
He also informed that the university has launched new professional programs for the upcoming academic session 2023-24 which are having high demand. The ensuing programs are Masters of Technology in Computer Science & Engineering M.Tech in Structural Engineering, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Computer Science & Engineering with specialization in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security etc.
“The University has signed 6 international MOUS with USA, UK, Srilanka & Bangladesh besides 73 national MOU’s with various prestigious organizations and Universities. The University has recently signed MOU with US University for Faulty exchange student exchange, Academic and Research collaborations. By signing the MoUs Students of ICFAI University Tripura will be able to pursue their higher studies in US Universities”, he said. At present around 6000 students are pursuing various programmes in the University.
