BMS, West district gives deputation to HE department’s Secretary

Agartala, May 04: West District Committee of the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh gave a deputation to the Secretary of the Higher Education Department at Civil Secretariat here on 5-point charter of demands.

The process of giving ad-hoc promotion to qualified Library employees at various levels of the Higher Education Department should be completed within the next 10 days, and all working library employees should be given 30 days leave in a year.

A delegation led by BMS West District Committee President Uttam Sarkar and Tripura Senior Citizen Pensioners Sangh President went to Secretariat and handed over this deputation to the Secretary of Higher Education Department.

A time limit of 10 days is fixed for the fulfillment of the demands on behalf of the delegation during the deputation.

After the deputation, the President of Tripura Senior Citizen Pensioner Sangh told reporters highlighting their 5-point charter of demands.

He also said that if the demands are not met within 10 days, they will discuss among themselves and take next steps.
