5.3-magnitude quake hits near west coast of Honshu, Japan: USGS

An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted near the west coast of Honshu, Japan, at 22:14:37 GMT on Tuesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 6.014 km, was initially determined to be at 37.536 degrees north latitude and 137.2641 degrees east longitude.
