CM Dr Manik Saha to attend Disaster Management Meeting chaired by Amit Shah on June 13

Agartala, June 12, 2023: Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has clarified that his visit to Delhi on Monday is not related to discussions with Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the appointment of an interlocutor to address the Tipra Matha constitutional issue. Speaking to the media, the Chief Minister stated that he will be attending a disaster management meeting chaired by Amit Shah on June 13.

The upcoming meeting will see the participation of Chief Ministers from various states, and the Chief Minister expressed his intention to highlight the state’s approach to handling disasters. He also mentioned that a scheduled meeting with the Prime Minister is on the agenda for Tuesday, during which administrative and organizational matters may be discussed.

In addition to these engagements, BJP state president JP Nadda is set to visit the state on June 16. The party leader will hold meetings with local leaders before participating in a party program on June 17. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha confirmed that he will be present for these interactions and will return on the same day.
