Thief takes advantage of devotee’s devotion at Udaipur

Agartala, June 21, 2023: As the devotees went to holy ‘Ratha Yatra’ festival, thief ransacked the house of Nitya Gopal Das at Palatana in Udaipur-sub-division on Tuesday last.

Taking advantage of this, the group of thieves broke the door of the house of Nitya Gopal Das and ransacked all the belongings and took away Rs 5 thousand in cash. Earlier also, thieves had stolen things from this house.

Nitya Gopal Das is a daily labourer. On Tuesday night, when he arrived at home and found that everything has been ransacked, he went mad.

Receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and registered a case. Now it is to be seen what role the police play in the case of theft. Family members and local residents are looking at that.
