Ex-CM to vacate official accommodation, writes to CM

Agartala: July 20. In a significant development, former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Biplab Kumar Deb has decided to vacate and surrender the official accommodation allotted by the State Government citing reason of shortage of official accommodation in Tripura.

Deb who has been living in the  Non Type IV Bungalow located at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Lane since 2018, has wrote a letter to the Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha that he has decided to vacate the accommodation.

“Due to shortage of official accommodation in Tripura, I have decided to vacate and surrender the official accommodation allotted by the State Government to me i.e. Non Type IV Bungalow located at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Lane, Agartala, West Tripura District, Tripura”, the letter reads.
